HE LEFT HIS GLASSES AT HOME

HE LEFT HIS GLASSES AT HOME

He left his glasses at home the other dayย
Funny things happened to him and got in the wayย
Like for instance he went to the bakersย
No bread was purchased it was actually the undertakersย

Bumping into people he was considered rudeย
Without his glasses I hope he was excusedย
He obviously got the wrong bus back from townย
All these mishaps though did not get him down

For when he eventually arrived back to his flatย
He was so pleased to see that welcome matย
On the shelf his glasses shone so brightย
He went to bed and called it a nightย
