Headstone

Grave Headings

Headstone

A name set in stone,
In grave was once a heroic man,

A selfless human being,

Doing everything to their loved one's

Now sleeping soundly

In a grave, who's rarely remembered

The prodigal son arrived from a long

Unending journey

Hoping to glimpse of who's once a glorious being

In the end what he sought was nothing

Only fragments of the memories,

Who was the Leader of the band

Like the famous song imparted to us

The leader of the band is tired and the eyes are old

Resting on a warm grave of flowers

Tears fall down on the lost son

Weeping in sorrow

But keeping forever the memories

And saying an ode to his father
