Health not wealth

Its the simple things in life
that makes me happy
Like the sun, a smile & a cup of tea
I love to ramble the countryside
Theres nothing nicer than feeling free

I would not want to win a fortune
That could only bring me pain
Wondering just who my true friends were
Or are they only there to gain

They do say that money is the root to all evil
Yes I do believe this true
Wars, religion, social class differences
Managing cash flow would stress you too

I think of so many talented people
Followed their dream to end up a star
Then too much money changes everything
Alas dabbled in drugs & went too far

It certainly cannot buy our happiness
Money does not determine our health
So my desire  is to stay as I am 
Let others have the worries of their wealth
