Hear My Prayer

If there is a God out there, please hear my prayer. 

If anyone is listening please let me know youre there. 

Take my hand and lead the way, 

Because im not sure how much longer I can stay. 

The stabbing pain I feel in my chest. 

Even when I close my eyes my mind cant seem to rest. 

A heart torn open and all it does is bleed, 

Someone come and save me because im in need. 

I cant find myself and I am so far gone. 

My racing thoughts seem to go on and on. 

What am I doing with myself, please help me see. 

The devils on my back and he wont leave me be. 

Im trying so hard to heal on my own, 

But even when there is a crowd I feel so alone. 

The louder I scream, the farther people go.  

Im reaching out now but no one seems to know. 

My cries are all silent yet it hurts no less. 

And im the only one left here to pick up the mess.
