Poem - 15 July 2021, 09:28

Heart

A change of heart; to the Atoning One,
Only when broken; does it attract The Son!
Then He can enter; and begin to mend it well,
So it can be buoyant; start floating up from hell!

Have you been broken; and had a change of heart?
I know it's hard to die; then just stand and start!
Sometimes we move fast enough to hit a wall!
Sometimes it's different; and takes no speed at all.

Maybe just needing, wanting peace unfurled,
Or a desire of simply; changing the world!!
However you get there; it will take passion!
Something to work with; The Savior can fashion!

Create a lasting legacy, somewhere to start.
Follow The Master, and give Him your heart!

Though I find it hard to believe in The Lord (okay, I wad brought up in a matriarchal system - not Jewish, though) it is how I feel about things, always burning candles at shrines for the Holy Lady. Thank you🙏🪔

Her wise words never forgotten to this day.
