Heart bomb

Of the many ways a heart can decay      Love was of most vengeful in all of her ways . 
     Sweet damage she spewed , the chambers erode , skip a broken beat again      and it just may explode . 
          That Cherry paint dulls , and peels back the glow . Red rivers go sour     then stops the flow . 
            Her light was so warm , that's the tale we were told. Then love met the fool      and turned the heart cold .
