Poem -

Heart Burn

A Heart when confused
Can ignite into flames
Ain't nothing like Fire
Still it burns all the same.

Fueled by hope
For the one whom they crave
Has the emotional blast
Of a 100ft wave.

Words make no sense
To a Heart in a daze
And without its sparkle
No one takes a gaze.

Yet everyone knows
With a little time
A Heart will once again
Shimmer and Shine.

Well at least until
The return of confusion
Of knowing that Love
Is the Hearts illusion...

Hello RICHARD!!..... you've definitely got an excellent sense of poetic rhythm and timing..... and because of it the author's intent comes across powerfully and clearly... as the heart that has been burned can be clouded in it's reaction to love's loss.... and still it will carry on beyond the confusion and the illusion!!......ALL STARS!!.... well conceived & beautifully delivered!! (painful though it may be)....... well done dear poet brother.... and......WELCOME to COSMO!!.......LOVE & ROCKETS!!.....T xo   : )
