Heart of Ice

Heart of Ice

This frozen heart that I have stolenĀ
Forever shamed my heart is swollenĀ
This heart of ice I tried to meltĀ
Blood dripped memories is all that's feltĀ
Though I tried to do a good man's deedĀ
And end the want of pain in needĀ
Now some may say that she is wrongĀ
And that we never did belongĀ
Together is a deal we madeĀ
Love was the biggest tradeĀ
\Though nothing no one ever did presume
Your bitter heart my soul consumeĀ
I was blinded to the factĀ
The clues were there you said yourselfĀ
I never did reactĀ
\This frozen heart that I have stolenĀ
Forever shamed my heart is swollenĀ
The river of regret runs coldĀ
Great relationships are right as goldĀ
But no one said IĀ have to fightĀ
Honestly the torment just seemed right.
