Heart of Stone
 
He must have a heart of cold stone
You would be better off on your own
 
You are beauty, elegance and fine lace
The truth about him you must face
 
You are truly an earthly treasure to behold
While his soul has been bought and sold
 
Don’t continue to be so foolish and naïve
In your heart and soul you must believe
 
They say that pride always comes before a fall
Hear the echoes of your lonely heart call
 
Prepare for your longing heart to greave
He has always got another ace up his sleeve
 
He doesn’t have the heart love you this is true
Your faded relationship is held together by glue
 
He is happy when you are down on your knees
And you will do anything just to please
 
It is true that you are simply one of a kind
But he is always on your burdened mind
 
Your dreams have all turned to black and blue
Look in the mirror it will tell what he thinks of you
 
He must have envy running through his veins
It is a wonder that you still remain sane
 
He intends to drive you to an early grave
For it is the road to hell that he paves
 
Love him and leave him please don’t wait
Surely you will fall to ruin should you hesitate
 
Save your tender heart from the blazing fire
And to your dreams learn to simply aspire
 
All of the few good days came and went
I pray that your heart is heaven sent
