Heart of the Matter

Dreamers and pundits
pontificating incessantly
on issues of questionable relevancy
in the grand scheme of our story..
The majesty of their lofty philosophy
is lost on those of us
whose only daily luxury
is found in moldy bread
and a sliver of rancid cheese..
The struggles of real life
are forever grounded
in such harsh economic realities
that eclipses the ignorance
of worthless ideologies

Hello Steve...
I got that out of the way early...
I started a business when I was 10...
I have a small business now...
I don't start again until March...
If the economy turns around I will hopefully be working more...
If it doesn't I'm probably going to sell...
Because, people chose poverty I couldn't argue against it if I was going to be here in it...
I would have sounded more crazy...
I worked 3-4 jobs for years...
If then was now...
I'd have to work 6 jobs...
I didn't want to end up like my parents...
Both enjoyed 7 years of Retirement and died...
I'm too young to apply for Social Security...
Smarter not harder...
Right?
It's based on lifestyle and where you live has a lot to do with it also?
Great write!
Thank you for sharing...

I look back on my 45 years working my butt off on the treadmill and living frugally counting every coin and wish I would have spent a little more time smelling the roses.. We are so conditioned the measure ourselves by our careers and success by how much money we manage to accumulate but
it really is an illusion...
Value the non monetary joys of life
P.S. If my calculations are correct I will be doing a complete closeout in November...
It would mean another 4 years of this...
Without a Plan B or C...
There's no point in starting the Plan A...
If I'm using Plan B...
It's not going to be because of Biden...
That's for sure...
I don't want to afford him...
He got enough...
Everything in its time...
I do give him credit though...
He makes my KISS plan work very well...

You'll get there and I hope you find enjoyment in the trip
