HEAVEN BOUND

A soft and gentle wind whispered your name 
Your response was yes, here am I
Come and see what can only be experienced 
On the other side of man's dusty trails 
Experience the glory and beauty of eternity 

Your soul smiled, your heart rejoiced 
But I must leave familiarity behind, you said
Those that I love, and those that loves me
What guarantee do I have of its rewards 

Then the wind began to sing a lullaby
O daughter of my soul
Come out from the darkness and embrace the light 
Turn your back on the pain and sufferings 
That this temporally life births 
And kiss the cheeks of angles

Walk in the garden of God
Feast on the bounty of his wisdom 
Embrace his eternal love evermore 
And enjoy undaunted Peace, Joy and happiness 
While gazing into the eyes 
Of the eternal compassionate God

It was not difficult for you to release your soul
To walk away from the temporal to gain the eternal 
To your surprise, your welcome home 
Was beyond you imagination 
Friends, family, love ones, and a host of angles 
Standing at the gate of eternity with open arms 
Awaiting your warm embrace.
