Heavenly Journey.

In the early morning rain.
I board the early morning train.
I sit down on my first class prepaid seat.
I am happy i am heading down south to get some heat.
My carriage is full of rich old men.
All their ages around four score and ten.
Their eyes are closed they’re all asleep.
Soon they’ll become god’s heavenly sheep.
The train begins to move away.
My south bound journey will take most of this dull rainy day.
I sit back and look around.
The train does look like it is floating along the wet uneven northern ground.
The green fields pass quickly bye.
The grey sky above by me does quickly fly.
Trains pass bye as quick as lightening.
To me their speed is somewhat frightening.
The outside scenery now you see now you don’t.
If this train had to stop quick i am sure it won’t.
The waiter comes around with coffee and tea.
Then again he comes with food that is first class free.
I drink my tea and eat my food.
Both of them have put me in a sleeping mood.
I close my eyes and have a nap.
Soon I’m awakened by a loud noisy snoring chap.
Outside the weather is turning southerly warm.
Mother Nature certainly has a southerly charm.
All around me the old men snore.
For them travelling is a burdensome chore.
Another hour and i will be in heaven.
Where happiness is open twenty four seven.
