Heavenly Revelations: Right and Left

Heavenly Revelations: Lucifer and Michael

Heavenly Revelations: Right and Left

In the dawn of creation, when time was new, Two angels were born, in heaven’s blue. Lucifer, the morning star so bright, And Michael, the warrior of light.

In God’s own breath, they found their form, Two brothers made, in love reborn. Lucifer, with beauty, unmatched grace, Michael, with strength, and fearless face.

From heavens high, they took their stand, As right and left of God’s command. Lucifer, the right hand, in glory’s light, Michael, the left hand, in battle’s might.

Together they served, in heaven’s land, In perfect harmony, they took their stand. But rivalry’s seed, in hearts did grow, A competition, that none could know.

For ages they fought, in friendly strife, Testing their strength, in angelic life. Yet shadows crept in Lucifer’s mind, A prideful thought, a plan unkind.

He sought the throne, the highest place, To rise above, to lead the race. No longer content with God’s own plan, Lucifer's pride, his fall began.

As the dragon, Lucifer revealed his might, Taking a third of angels into the night. He whispered promises, ignited desire, Raising his army, their hearts afire, and so the war drew near.
