Heaven's Sword
Yes, we shall Love,
Yes, we shall Love forever
Let it not be ingloriously...
I will not hide behind pain or difficulty
And if perchance we find, in our eagerness
That words unspoken, do cause a rift
I shall fight wisely for this Love, not ingloriously
I will empty the fibrous strengths of my will
And also, my immovable Love for you
Through prayer and metaphysical meditation
I will be imbued with the vestigial light of heaven's sword
And the might you've bestowed upon my rejuvenated spirit
With your unselfishness
And willingness, to reject my stubbornness
With such gently unspoken, telepathic language
Which brings me hesitation
In the face of your heart's wisdom
And the psychic resonance you wield
On my behalf
So gracefully placing yourself
Inside my pain
And easing my sense of urgency
To a slow, pulsating, movement of adoration
Where I find myself mystically healing
Without first being wholly prepared
For this extraordinary gift
I receive from you daily
In the music of your voice
And the healing radiance
Of your smile
Yes we shall Love, and we shall Love forever
And this Love,
Will not be,
Perpetuated,
ingloriously....

Tony you're getting good at this base ball thing you just knocked another one out the park. the feeling the emotion the sentiment the admiration flows so effortlessly from every pore more to the point at the base of this poem is love story. about somebody that accepts you even though you are ill and wants to take that journey with you no matter how painful that journey may be for yourself and Cherie. i am in awe of you beautifully written, constructed and executed in perfection. loved it. may you have many more years together my friend.
