Hef

Hef

We lost another great one, just this weekend last;
The incomparable Hugh Hefner, at ninety one has passed!
Some loved him while others didnā€™t, their sexual mores so old school;
But as a young lad in the early fifties, his magazines made me drool!

.
He brought erotic freedom to America, but in a very tasteful way;
Far more pure and genuine, than the smut we see today!
His centerfolds were legends, each month Iā€™d eagerly await;
From dear Marilyn to Jenny, those most beautiful hot Playmates!

.
Also few people realize, that for short stories he would pay;
Four times more than other magazines, the best ones of the day!
Then there was that Playboy Mansion, and the parties Iā€™d watch on our TV;
Thinking ā€œThereā€™s no place in the whole wide world, that I would rather beā€!

.
So hats off to you my dear Hef, you brought such pleasure to our lives;
And beauty to our bedsides, read by teens and men and wives!
You had a dream and fulfilled it, making some of ours come true;
For sex became an accepted topic, and we owe it all to you!
