Help

I'm sinking down deep down under

I can no longer hear the crashing thunder.

I'm sinking down into the sand

someone please help me reach out your hand.

Where are you I'm still sinking

please try to find me you're not thinking.

I'm sinking faster into the ground

now there's water I'm going to drown.

It's up to my chin I've got to go

then the rest of the story you'll never know.

when I was 17 I wrote this, about the depths of my depression. Depression is like quick sand, one minute you think you're ok then the next minute you're up to your neck and don't know where to start.
