HELPLESS

What is the answer
When the answer is not
How do I rescue you
When you care not a jot

You are ill with the fear
Your soul cracked and broke
Your mouth speaks the sorrows
On which you strangle and choke

You appear so normal
But your soul is so wrong
Your mind squirms in anguish
Your sanity gone

I love you and weep 
Ruby tears I do shed
But I abandon you now
For my heart you have bled
Dry.
