Her

Her

She stares into the mirror to see
The girl she wishes to never be
Feeling her stomach believing it's flat
hiding from the mirror exposing all her fat
Rubbing her face to wash away the acne
Will she ever stop believing she is ugly?
Hiding away her legs thinking everybody will care
Deciding whether or not to cut away her hair
Take off those glasses and show your sparkling eyes
And don't be ashamed of the fat beneath your thighs
Can't handle too listen and accept the truth
Struggling to smile because of the gap in your tooth
Hearing all the voices and everyone gossip
Stop trying to cover your face with all that makeup
Fixing her glasses so she doesn't appear a geek
Trying to hide away the dimples on her cheek
Insecure of the style of her clothes
Questioning the fact of her pointy nose
Will she ever just stop and adore?
Before she appreciates herself walking out the door
