Her broken dreams🥲

Her broken dreams🥲

She was torn between the both of them

“Oh which one should she choose?”

As she lay feeling melancholy, with that burden of the blues

One of them was courting and the other lover was wed

She would write them both a letter from the riddles in her head

If she had some common sense, she should find somebody new

But alas this lass was lonely, this was not what she would do?

She was caught up in confusion, where two wrongs don’t make a right

So desperate for affection in that darkness of the night

And as she lay wide awake, yet another night alone

All she ever seemed to do these days, was to fiddle with her phone

As her weary eyes welled up from her tears of broken dreams

She looked up thru that blackness to the ceiling wooden beams

And she sighed as she cried, she had finally saw the light

These love triangles would be dead and gone, as soon as darkness turned to light!!
