Poem -

‘Her daylight dreamland’

‘Her daylight dreamland’

“Dad, Mam is lost again with that odd look in her eye”
“Ah never mind my dear just leave her to lie”
As she lay upon her beautiful bed of newly cut red roses all in her mind’s eye betwixt her trails of thought tranced hypnosis

But that bed is her stage and she can make it come alive as creative cogs dance around her head and ideas duck and dive
So there she goes again with her wacky, wonderful words penning her poetry whilst listening to the birds

“Oh there you are my dear” Father greets her with a smile
“I knew you would come back to us in a little while”
She carries her open book with her ballpoint pen in her hand and she reads her latest piece of poetry it’s called ‘Her daylight dreamland’
