Poem -

Her last.

Broken tears,
Broken words,
A broken heart as a child learns.
Learns to walk,
Learns to talk,
Learns to hold a hand...
First so innocent,
With flowers in her hair,
Soon succumbs to dark light...
Her breath too heavy to bare.
The last light,
Last words,
Last shallow breaths,
The last tears she ever cried,
As she hung her neck.
