In whirling wheels of circulation
with twirling reels from her gyration
She swings her hips in rhythmical rhyming
to the tuneful musical tempo timing
Round and around in oscillation
her hula hoop turns in verve vibration
This lass has mastered the knack
with her dexterous technique
she is a clever crackerjack
amidst her slim, slenderous physique
Her hula hoop has outspun the rest
She has not dropped her round loop
and by far the very best

As she proudly stands on the podium to collect her first prize
Her parents are as pleased as punch they can hardly believe their eyes
