Poem -

Here With Dad

That old tin bath

Left out in the Sun

On sweet dewed grass

Warm glimmered waters run

Dad was a Soldier

A farmer  A great Soul

He gave us amazing Summers

And taught us how to grow

Picking Apples

In fields of green

Sat upon the tractor

Huge smiles that beamed

We never just had one day

It was life's Holiday of fun

So much laughter

So much play

But if I could choose

Just one amazing moment

It would all that is held

In that Christmas torment

Sprinkled Magic

That warm log fire

Presents with ribbons

Petty paper to admire

A cold winters evening

Chestnuts with hot cups of tea

A Father so happy

With me resting on his knee.
