The Old Modern.

It may be modern times we hold

But who doesn't wonder

At stories of old

Ancient relatives

Songs of war

Historical notebooks

Journels in store

Each day we add a second penned line

In verse in pages

In books all bind

Footprints of past

Handprints of gold

Who can but wonder

At stories of old
