Hero

A hero does not need to be strong nor wise,
Nor do they need to wield a sword or fly.
A hero can be small, and perhaps overlooked.
They could be quiet or loud or perhaps misunderstood?
A hero is someone we look up to with pride,
Someone we cherish and admire in our lives.
A hero is someone we aspire to be,
Someone who motivates and makes us see.
My hero might not be yours, and yours might not be mine,
But my hero saved me, countless of times.
And for that I admire, as much as I can,
My hero saved me, and now I stand
