Heroes of beyond Living

What is a hero? some of you may ask. Well,a lot of you view that person to have supernatural powers and talents of sorts for instance like Superman or Gi Joe as a matter of fact, because that is how people are shown even today. A hero is not just a person with powers, but a person who goes around touching the lives of others to give them not just a miracle but hope to hold on to. That is what makes a hero special . A lot of people don't know it, but the true heroes are the ones that are everywhere around you in your life. Deep down somewhere, you know that person or hero is the one that makes a difference. That hero is in every second, of every minute, of every hour of the day-spreading the hope that is held so dearly to those who need it the most. One hero that i would like to give the most credit for is my mom. Yeah we may have hit a rough patch here but you know what? She keeps moving forward doing all she can to spread all that hope into various amounts of peoples lives. This makes her a hero, and she should be reconized for that. Being a single mom with 3 Not one, Not two but three kids and very little friends, she still takes the battles and spreads those who she thinks needs hope more than her. This makes her a hero to me and many, many others in the world around her too. Others might not stop to see that; they are too busy with their heads stuck up in the clouds still looking for that hero with supernatural powers to fly to their rescue. The real heros are around us who are and make the unthinkable happen. so thanks for all your love and support, but most of all for the hope that you give to me to hold onto so dearly that has gotten me this far.
My mom my hero, my ever loving, life long friend, but most importantly my light that shines ever so brightly that gives me that hope and resistance to hang tough. I am the daughter of a hero. thanks mom, love you. Now its my turn to return the hope to others who need it too. We can hang in. we always have.
Your ever loving daughter and more,
Destiny Roland

Greetings Destiny,
A daughters love....... A credit not only to your very close family but to the world as a whole. A true mom, not only in words but in philosophical reasonings as well. Many wish to have, or be like the mother you have introduced us to in your poem but unfortunately they fall short and not because of not trying to follow this blue print of perfection but simply because they possess (not) the patience, time and effort to place first, their true pride and joy, (their family). Some of us don't realize her dynamics, until mom has fallen ill or have departed for unknown reasons, than only will you see the fabric of the family, has a manifested wrinkle, that can never be corrected, until her re-insertion. The true thread that holds the blanket together. And you, a daughter whom has wasted no time, in really appreciating what you have in your corner, before time has taken its inevitable course to separate....She i am sure, is just as proud of the daughter she has in you and the job well done by her, in your up bringing....A nice piece of work and an extremely warm gesture paid in full to your mother...
Warmest regards,
Jim
Thank you very much and I also am glad that i have realized this and have told my mom over and over again that she is all of these things.
Hey Ms. Destiny,
You are quite welcome and that is good that you do tell her,she never needs to wonder if its spoken to her out loud and now it has been immortalized forever in your creation.....To her...You all presents a very happy crew ,always care for each other and continue doing the things you all do for each other ....be as inventive just as you have in this poem to each other....blood is like a mood ring, it tends to run real bright red, when love has a hold on it....Keep that hold..I have a daughter as well and what you have done, is something she loves doing herself as well, family recognition.....Good Job..
Kind regards,
Jim
