Hidden In The Library

Hidden In The Library

My thoughts
my soul
my ink

is
left

in the back
of
a
metaphorical
library

Yellow
in appearance
fragile
to
the touch

my expressions
in artistic
form
is
still
intact

was considered
for
digital format

but a young
hipster
with doodle
drawings
took
my
spot

Audibles
left me
a voice
message
telling me
I was originally
a prime
candidate
until
they heard my
voice greeting
and now
I can
disregard

At this
point
many
would
retire
the
quill

and leave
it
to the
youth
to
come
up
with
new
ideas

I however
won't
succumb
to
defeat
as
reincarnation
are
not
only
a
vessel
for
the
dead
it
is
a
steroid
to
the
living
