HIDDEN TREASURE

Deep within the soul of me
Was a treasure hidden, 
A gem asleep 

I never knew that it was there
More beautiful than all earths faces 
And softest of hair

No smile so bright before I see
No skin so soft, as a gentle breeze 
A voice as sweet as the honeycomb 
A love expressed that cultivates my own 

From a deep sleep she came to me
I was awaken by her touch and sensitivity 
My loneliness disappeared at her first glance 
I found a freedom, a joy, 
She must be heaven sent .
