Poem -

him and her

She twirled on the dance floor
spinning from end to end
gracefully she makes her way across the floor
her personality and beauty matched, they blend

he stood in a corner as his glaze rested on her
as she captures the night
to the gods above he mumbled a prayer
wishing she would be his by the end of the night

she is fascinated by his handsome face
she catches his eyes
he stood silently in his place
tonight he was her prizeĀ

he knew he needed to make a move
so he slid from his comfort zone
he had to get her she is a gem he shouldn't loose
he slid his hands around her waste he took her out into the night to a place called home
