HIS INVISIBLE PRESENCE

My heart was sad 
For such a long time
So behind my faded smile I hide

My mind like a runaway train 
Was off track 
I could not see the light 
At the end of the tunnel 
And I came too far to turn back 

My hope and faith was slipping away 
I needed strength to face another day 
So with all that was in me I cried 
Lord I need you by my side 

I felt a peace and calmness 
Came over me
And a voice whispered to my heart 
I am always with you
Though you could not see

The God of heaven 
Was always by my side
And in an instant 
My dark tunnel was as filled with light.
