Poem -

His Stars

He was the summer,
carefree with a reckless faith.
A spirit of stars.

And she was the fall,
so beautiful but dying.
A mind on the ground.

As he took her hand,
she could hear all of his stars,
she could feel them spark.

But he pulled too far,
and the stars started to bite.
She could feel their burn.

So, biting her lip,
she stole only one last kiss,
and let herself fall.
