His Words Burn

His Words Burn
Â
His arguing is like a raging fire, it burns
I ask you when will you ever learn
Â
I tell you he’s not the one for you
His persona is just too good to be true
Â
He has made a slave out of you
Always leaves you crying and blue
Â
He generally only thinks of himself
Has little time for anyone else
Â
He thinks that the world revolves around him
But the way he treats you truly is a sin
Â
With him there’s always a fire burning
And the tides they are constantly turning
Â
You could not call him either caring or kind
But somehow he’s always on your mind
Â
you should just leave and forget all about him
Because he’s dealt you a hand you just can’t win
Â
He always thinks he knows what is best for you
But he’s got a wandering heart that can’t be true
Â
Makes me wonder if he’s even got a heart
Always awaiting another blazing inferno to start
Â
You can’t be held back by mere prison bars
Look up at the night sky and count the endless stars
Â
Try to take your mind off the cruel words he’s said
I think it’s too late for him, he’s already made his bed
Â
He has made his bed where he now has to lie
It’s in your heart of hearts to say goodbye
Â
Why don’t you do a favour for yourself?
And give your love to somebody else
Â
His words have often got you tied and bound
What is he gonna do when you are not around
Â
Go fourth and find shelter for your bleeding heart
Plant a seed of love and make a brand new start
Â
