Poem -

Holding my breath

The constant feeling of being forgotten
forgotten in a desert.
The feeling of being alone
alone in the world.
Alone in a locked room.
The feeling of drowning.
Holding your breath until you feel like your heads going to explode.
Your chest is tight.
The feeling of passing out.
The moment you finally take a breath.
And your 100s of feet below water.
The moment you realize it's just a dream.
Than the gasp of air.
Holding my breath
until I can't hold it anymore.
Holding my breath.
