i have a lovely home here - 

and i live here with my sweet wife -

we had everything we ever wanted -

what more would you want in life ,

i had a big glass house to grow all my tomatoes -

and my wife o how she loved her flowers-

37 year´s we lived here and brought up a family -

it was wonderful every second every hour ,

kids all grown up and all left the nest -

we had so much time on our hands-

we both retired from our jobs -

and we traveled to faraway lands ,

years did role and we got older 

and we slowed down in our ways-

now we sit by the fire place 

and reminisce on younger days ,

then one night my darling fell ill-

and the doctor came to see -

i rang my son to come and help 

but at that time he wasn´´t free ,

blue lights flashing  and panic everywhere-

to hospital we drove as to god i did pray -

but all my prayers went to waste-

my sweetheart has passed away ,

we buried her on a sunday morning -

as the roses came into bloom-

and how she loved her flowers 

please god i hope to see her soon ,

it didn´t take long for my son´s untimely visit one day -

saying i was too old to be alone -

so they were all thinking to themselves-

i would be better off in a home ,

i didt put up a fight 

all i wanted was my wife -

you give your kids all your love -

and this is how they end  your life 

sadly now i am in a home -

my son´s left me there -

but ill be with my sweetheart soon 

in her loveing gental beautiful care
