Home Stretch

We are living during the end of the End Times
Running with our eyes focused on the finish line

In this world we are deeply despised though we’ve committed no crime
Criticized for our faith and trampled like grapes to make wine

The end is near and the goal is clear
Jesus is at the door, what is there to fear

Though your knees buckle and your arms ache
Hold on to that cross, you know what’s at stake

So grit your teeth and dig deep
Climb that hill no matter how steep

The suffering we face cannot compare to our Lord’s embrace
So fight on and run straight, it’s the home stretch, finish this race
