My entire being yearns to return to my family !

A packed train alive with songs and cheering

Masks the truth of what each soul is feeling.

There is trauma caused by the horrors of war

Deep inside every soldier unable to see more

Of bloodshed, suffering and absolute misery

That's been with them for what seems an eternity !

There's a lasting bond forged from battling together

But I know every one about me is changed forever !

Many will find memories of conflict so hard to bear

Struggling for peace from what happened over there.
