Homeless

Homeless

We forget about the people, without  roofs above their heads
we take it for granted we sleep in clean warm beds

We class them as beggars, discard them without fail,
we make an assumption without knowing any tale

Do we really think,  they like living on the street, ?
ignored by all the people and  the bobbies on the beat.

They are all sad stories if we listened to there plight,
tales of violence and abuse, made them all take flight.

We rarely give them money, see them begging  and just cuss
, but we never think if we lost our jobs,  one day it could be us
