Spring and seasons on earth
First thing in the mornings,
when the sun begins to rise,
It sparkles in the mildew,
and the world becomes alive
The plants soak up the morning heat
and their leaves do open wide,
The birds take to flight,
and up they go,
they soar and fly and glide
The cockerel sounds his voice,
as he lets us know its morn,
A family of field Mice squeak amongst the corn
The insects start to crawl, and the bees, they leave the hive.
All off this commotion, says it great to be alive
The tide rolls in, the fish do swim,
And the waves lap on the beach
The seagulls sit on the cliff sides
Way out of our reach
Over all our seasons,
we see sunshine rain and snow
We see the frost, the driving wind
and then we watch it go
We see things grow, we see things die,
As nature does its thing,
Yet to witness this amazing world
Is better than being king
We have rocks as soft as clay,
And others solid granite,
And of the above,
It makes our lovely planet.
