Homesick for a place I've never been
Awoken Restless Spirit
I am a forever awoken but restless spirit homesick for a place I've never been. A mother of two raised by one minus hauntly years that tried for more. Worldly ties tethered by grace to beating hearts belonging to my children, port a soul longing to pass. Sparse remains of what became after being who i am taint ideas of having hope of what could or should become became me. But faith is mine...faith is filled to full...faith is running over but never running empty. I, myself and all of me's complacently agree that earthly births bind infinite bonds of soughtly desired destination. Worthy of the lonely, mocked, misunderstood, empathetic, marked, martered and measured existence one day made right by the inheritance of promise made by the father through the son made alive by the holy spirit...Walking faithful without sight submission feet first at the throne, I remain forever an awoken spirit restless and homesick for a home I've never known.

Like Neville wrote, I know the space (though just by poetry, being childless by choice for reasons of childhood trauma for both the wife and myself but of late we finally can say:"We have overcome" Please keep sharing such thoughts
