Honor Thy Father

Photo of my Father, quite the “hunk”, on Atlantic City Beach
Today my precious Father, I look to skies above;
My heart and Soul send kisses, with all their purest love!
Forty-one years ago you left me, on a coldened Winter’s morn;
When the surgery was unsuccessful, to repair your heart so worn!
.
So young at barely sixty-one, your years cut way too short;
By the time you decided to have it, the operation was your last resort!
For four decades I’ve lived with memories, of the joyous life we shared;
Your special ways of loving me, and showing me you cared!
.
On this day I honor you, my Father, so very dear;
My tears flow very freely, for I wish you still were here!
I never will forget you, you live eternal in my heart and Soul;
You were my completion, the man that made me whole!
.
.
My dearest Daddy
I will love you forever
Happy Father’s Day
