HOURGLASS

HOURGLASS

Grains of sand begin to fall, time is running out! She tilts the glass to save them all, but there is simply no way out. Pressure she is under, it's no wonder she's insane! This most atrocious blunder will leave her to be the blame. Hurry! Hurry! She begins to shake! The sand is falling fast! Her worry surely can't be faked! Nor can her vicious past! She contends with time but she is no match, so relapse starts to creep; Though she pretends that she is fine, she knows that she is weak. Seeping, seeping, seeping through: The grains of sand are low! Weeping, weeping! Misconstrued! How far can she go? Break the glass! Shatter it! Let the jagged pieces soar! Into a dark oblivion where waits the Carnivore! He waits to taste her precious flesh, to savor her sweet skin! He anticipates her dying breath as he covers her in sin! Another grain has fallen through! And then another follows! She doesn't know, now, what to do! So anxiously she swallows. Are they yellow? Are they white? Does it ever matter? The Devil is a handsome fellow that watches her mind scatter! Chase the morsels of her mind like an animal in heat! Watch her as she tries to find a way to avoid defeat! But defeat comes much too quickly as the last grain slowly drops...A life she'll spend in agony as all her hope is lost...
