Hours

Hours

A hello turned to hours , you tasted of vanilla . I had my heart set on home , well of course our steps are taken else where .

You spoke like a drum , enticed like a fire on a hill , my eyes can't see past it . Your hair kissed my cheek , those beautiful caramel swirls . We woke to the light and slept to the dark , your whisper is the lullaby of my time . Who knows when love will be woken .
