How Can She Not know Shes Dead

How can she not know she's dead?
Poem
By Jude Kyrie
How can she not know she’s dead?
The wedding ring dull with soap scum.
I follow her in silence everywhere
like an meaningless afterthought
She drives her car to the store.
Walking in a mist to buy cheese
I trail behind her as usual
How can she not know she’s dead?
She walks down each grocery aisle.
Her nylon legs shapely as beforeÂ
her feminine figure full and warm
I watch her quietly
my head in a silent storm.
How can she not know she’s dead?
She tosses her head her hair flips
like it does  when we are in our bed.
Where she makes love to me
like a troublesome job .
on her to-do list.
How can she not know she’s dead?
Strangers see her lipstick covered fake
white toothed smile.
I see her for the bitch she is.
How can she not know she’s dead?
I follow her to the car
Like something she forgot she said.

A very powerful and quite chilling write Jude!
There is an air of silent menace running through this...very clever!
