When I say I love you I mean it platonically
But secretly wish you'd reply romantically

You have the prettiest smile to ever grace my eyes

And it always makes my heart melt like dye

I wish I could hold you in my arms forever

I wish I never had to say goodbye

I wish our time was never limited

And I wish my feelings were reciprocated

You bring a light to my life that I wish never leaves

You bring a joy to my life that I think everyone needs

To all I love, but especially you

Say you love me and I'll say it back

Even the ones who shove

But to the one that I think about a bit too much

You're smart, you're funny

You're as cuddly as a bunny

I wish I could dance under the stars with you

I wish I could romance every night with you

You're gorgeous outside,

but especially stunning inside

Much to my dismay I see that to be true
