HOW I WISH

How I wish I could take a walk
Along the ocean shore 
Holding your hands 
Barefooted in the sand

Feeling the cool breeze 
On my face
Watching the swaying 
Of that beautiful red dress 
Made of lace

Forgetting the city and its noise 
Just you and me 
Playing like children 
With new toys

We can build a sandcastle 
As we wait for the waves
To wash it away 
O how I wish 
I can have one of those days.
