How many tears ? Dedicated to the children of gaza and worldwide children of abuse ,war and pain
How many tears would it take to fill a thimble ?
How many tears would it take to fill a cup ?
How many tears would it take to fill a barrel ?
How many tears do you think is enough ?
Well the tears of the children
The abused and misleaded
The lost and never found
The murdered and mistreated
All the oceans lakes and pools
Are the children's drops that fill
With the pains they have suffered of their fears
So remember all the waves of the sea as they rise
Are the angels tears of meaning drops of sorrow in their demise
A reminder of what is gone
Child sweet eyes of hurt inside
In the water all around
Are the tears of someones child
A reminder of the lost ,the hurt and scared today
To the angel a prayer....take those tears away

Sad and yet beautiful. What is going on is truly unjust and it seems like no government entity really cares. Your poem is beautiful because it asks really at what point will this end. I try not to watch the news so that I can give out positive energy but every morning I wake up thinking about the innocent casualities. My poem religion is targeted on what is going on also. Thank you sweet heart.

Thank you Tony ....tears is all i see on screen from the injured child -lost and i think of the tears the child must have cried in fear before they died....sad as it is its happening all over the world and it has to end ....thank you Tony for your insight :) Tina x

Such a poem in these times is needed to remind that the child is the one human leaves out in wars....human is so content with holding a gun..... yet the child dies....in war....the dead child is the medal all content with involvement achieve!!...
