HUMBLED

I have been to the top
I have been to the bottom
I know how it feels either ways
The world is unfair when you fail
You rule the world when you are on top
Either ways, it was all about me

Not for a moment did I envy you when you made it
I was glad you did
and sad i did not but not because of you
So it is hard believing when you start this fight
One that I am sure none of us can win
I am super sure that we both might get hurt
But if you insist, let us dance then

You do not have to say a word
Your deeds betray all that you do
Lack of eye contacts, no greetings, fast pacing
And all these are signs of something sinister boiling underneath
It was all nothing at first, you won and i lost
Now i won and you lost and you want to toss a coin
Tis hard giving in, who gets humbled in the end?
