Hummingbird Seduction Dance

A whirl: small wings hum

Above her, gyrating

her wings relaxed

she pulls him in, his longĀ  beak almost touching,

She holds him helpless suspended animation.

And O how he Ā can feel her,

a rush,

heart beating with speed of wings?

caught up,

So mastered by her colors,

her indifference breaks

she will letĀ him drop down

and have his way...

The love story of the Hummingbird is equal to all the passionate stories among animals warm-blooded, acceleration, fever and flutter between two hearts that try to beat a same rate.
A greeting and congratulations on such an interesting poem, a composition where is quite clear that the animals apart from mate to perpetuate itself also fall in love.
