Hummingbird Seduction Dance
A whirl: small wings hum
Above her, gyrating
her wings relaxed
she pulls him in, his long beak almost touching,
She holds him helpless suspended animation.
And O how he can feel her,
a rush,
heart beating with speed of wings?
caught up,
So mastered by her colors,
her indifference breaks
she will let him drop down
and have his way...
