Poem -

Hurt you

I grew up with you
You showed me most parts of life
You taught me how to stay alive
I watched you hurt and cry
It hurt me to see you try
The pain you've been through
I can't even imagine though
Our bond was never strong
I never got to see the real you
You hurt me so many times
I pushed through
Even after years i couldn't tell you
I couldn't say "mom, they broke my heart"
I couldn't say "mom it hurts so much"
I couldn't say "mom, pick me up"
I couldn't talk to you
After all you've been through
I couldn't be one of the reasons
You hurt too
