Hypocrisy

They tell me to stop smoking cigarettes,
As they buy pack after pack,
Blowing smoke in my face, and knocking ashes into my mind,
Recesses are filled with pollution, Newports and Mavericks tensing my temples.
They warn me of the negative effects of Marijuana,
In the midst of buying a quarter and blowing heavy.
White Owls, Zig Zags, and Black and Mild wrappers everywhere.
Their coughs vibrate my inner being.
They call me stubborn when I separate myself,
And tell me that I'm going to Hell for it.
When later on in the week, they are more stubborn than I ever was.
I'm tired of all this hypocrisy!
They say that getting drunk is terrible on Monday,
But as the weekend creeps closer, they have five on the liquor...
We sit in church on Sunday and they are all holy,
But the second we leave the property they start their sins.
Now I'm not the one to judge because that's what God is for,
And when people judge me, I overlook the offense,
Because it is to God's glory.
I'm not perfect, at all. Jesus was the only One who was.
I have tried to stop all my sins and failed miserably,
But the good news is that I am forgiven!
So when I see you doing your sins, I'll let you know it's wrong,
And that it is God's message, not mine,
Then I'll walk the walk by not going home and doing what I told you not to.
You see there is a special place in Hell for hypocrites,
And I don't want to go there,
Earth is hot enough!
Let's destroy the hypocrisy by doing what is right,
Because by being one, you lose all respect.
You are contradicting yourself!
You lie to God and yourself!
You are a disgrace to your up-bringer!
Lets get real!
